The bed was a little squeaky, but for the price, it served its purpose. The location was great, within walking distance to Forsyth Barr Stadium and other attractions in Dunedin. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had everything we needed. it was a clean and affordable option for a night's stay. I would recommend Manor House Backpackers.

We loved the old style and mix of new art and furniture. The dorms were warm and the bathrooms were modern and spacious. The free to use BBQ and picnic area was a great place to enjoy lunch. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home.
Felt like a true getaway, no complaints at all.

Best place we stayed. The people there were so friendly and made us feel like we belonged. The house itself is nice and old and the wooden staircase and many bathrooms was a good idea. Quiet, for a backpackers. Warm, despite the snow falling outside. Authentic 1930s architecture, in a shabby kind of way. The staff is friendly, the bedding is clean and the shower room is large. It was a dormitory where 10 people sleep together. Everyone was quiet and very nice.
Do recommend this hotel.

Value for money was great, got a comfortable private room with hostel amenities. The old villa had a lot of character and the staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient walking distance to city centre with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Free parking right in front of the house.
Breakfast selection could use improvement, more options would be nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Manor House. The beautiful house and warm blankets made us feel right at home. Despite a few small inconveniences like the noises in the hallway and the broken shower head, the overall experience was fantastic. The location was convenient, and the house had a great vibe. The helpful and friendly staffs made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful during check-in, providing us with all the necessary information. The provision of towels and breakfast was a nice touch, making our stay more convenient.
The lack of proper security measures, such as lockers or room keys, made us concerned about the safety of our personal belongings. The heating system was inadequate, especially during the winter season, making our stay uncomfortable.

This place was mind-blowing! The historical mansion gave me a jaw-dropping feeling, like I was transported 100 years back in time. The big windows and fireplace in the dorm were super elegant. The newly renovated bathroom was spacious and modern. Plus, there were two buildings, lots of kitchens, and clean bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi, car park, flat-screen TV, and game room were also available. it was a beautiful, comfy, and warm hostel with happy staff and guests. Highly recommend!
